Commander Keen knew exactly what was going on. He had heard of aliens like these before, who kidnapped people at random from new planets to find out if they could be absorbed into their genetically modified slave race, replacing them with stand-ins while they performed their tests.
'I didn't know they'd reached this sector,' Keen mumbled as he made his way to the shed.
It was likely the alien's spaceship was still in orbit, meaning he could still catch up with it and save his Mum, and anyone else on board.
Keen entered the shed only to find the Bean-with-Bacon missing its power core. Clearly the aliens had decided to disable the most advanced craft on earth.
Keen needed help. If the aliens found the people of earth were suitable for their slave camps, billions of lives were at risk. He switched on his communicator and its familiar whirr kicked in.
