Chapter 22

Billy stomped out of the kitchen angrily, annoyed that the alien impostor would not admit to being a fraud. As he walks through the entrance hall of the house he looks up at the clock to discover that the time is getting pretty late. Next thing he knows, the rumbling of the bus engine can be heard coming up the street.

"Nuts!" exclaims Billy, "I really need to sort out a much better bed-time, this just isn't acceptable!".

Billy races around the hallway collect bits and pieces that he needs for the school day, avoiding the glowing green lump of slime that his "Mom" has prepared for him.

Grabbing his bag as he leaves the room Billy suddenly realizes that his siblings don't have a clue as to what is going on. Billy can't decide whether or not to tell his siblings about the impersonator, as it will most likely result in being late once again.

What should Keen do?

  1. Tell his brother, who is also in a foul mood about not being able to find his football helmet for the game at lunch, later today.
  2. Tell his sister who isn't likely to believe he outrageous story.
  3. Forget telling his siblings and get to school on time!
  4. Investigate the situation further.
